FOUNDER

Mr Night brings to his role almost 3 decades of sector experience across disabilities, child safety, guardianship, advocacy, youth justice, forensic services, education and community service settings in government and non-government agencies. With personal, lived experience of disability, as a carer and father, he works significantly in media and as a sector advocate. His vision is to see a Disability Sector we can all be proud of.

EVENTS TEAM

With a great eye for detail and a commitment to making the expos the best they can be, Pete is DAC’s dedicated operational foreman. Pete oversees a marketing build team for registration, expo help, the support hub, entertainment and the main stage. Pete is also DAC’s friendly Entertainment Area MC showcasing the talents in the sector!

“It’s been awesome, we’ve met so many great people, and a lot of participants have come up to say hello. We’ve actually found a lot of people coming over just to ask generalised questions. Sometimes they’re just not quite sure on who to actually talk to, so they’ve come, taken a seat and we’ve just been having a bit of a chat about what supported independent living actually is, and what short term accommodation is as well, because some people are not quite sure what the difference is. It’s been great really talking to the participants and their guardians as well around that.”
