Incredibly, Amanda started as a bookkeeper when she was just 12 years old on the Gold Coast. She worked in her parents’ corner store and did their bookkeeping whilst learning accounting in school. Amanda was then driven to complete her Bachelor of Accounting degree and achieve her goal of becoming a CPA Accredited Accountant.
Now, 15 years later, her company, ASAP Solutions is committed to helping people with disabilities find their independence and full potential. Amanda builds close working relationships with her clients and their families and assists them to effectively manage their NDIS Plan and funding. She tries to eliminate client roadblocks, frustrations and confusions by making processes as effective as possible. For example, if a client needs specific equipment, Amanda helps to make sure they have sufficient funding and searches for where that amount can come from. By processing provider invoices quickly and accurately, Amanda and her team assist clients to keep track of fund balances, manage payments accurately and store receipts and records.
For support workers, ASAP Solutions can assist to manage taxation and GST obligations, BAS submissions and permitted deduction expenses, so they are paying only the tax they need to. Amanda says, “No matter how big or small your business is, we understand the challenges, and we are here to help.” ASAP Solutions strives to tailor a personalised solution for every client and business. She says “Every business is important to us, and we stay on the pulse of your finances to help you prepare for future growth.”
Amanda specialises in MYOB and Xero, platforms which can automate clients’ banking, generate tax reports and integrate payroll metrics. She believes that “technology is our friend” and through using the latest technology and appropriate software, clients save time and money by streamlining their administration requirements.
