Don’t feel alone this Christmas – reach out for help

Christmas is not the most wonderful time of the year for everyone.

While it’s a time of joy for some, the Christmas period can also be a lonely, stressful time for others, particularly those who already struggle with their mental health or have other health, family or financial worries.

The important thing to remember is, you are not alone. There is always someone to talk to, no matter where you live or what struggles you are facing.

We here at Developing Australian Communities care about you and want you to reach out if you are sad, lonely or just need someone to talk to.

There are several organisations that provide support and education for people with mental illness and their families and carers throughout Australia.
