We are proud and honoured to have Direct Care Australia join us as Platinum Sponsors for the Brisbane Disability Connection Expo 2022!

Direct Care Australia originated in Adelaide around 25 years ago and has a solid reputation for delivering best practice aged care and disability support. The organisation brings an abundance of passion and knowledge of the disability sector to participants through its bases in Adelaide, South Australia, and the Gold Coast in Queensland and even into New South Wales.

The Direct Care Australia team is highly flexible and offers care and support services 24-hours a day, seven days a week including weekends and public holidays. As well as being an approved Home Care Package Provider offering a wide variety of services for elderly people, Direct Care Australia also offers several NDIS services. The organisation works collaboratively with many healthcare and community care service providers including disability and aged care providers, local councils and residential care providers etc to ensure people get responsive and targeted support.

Their customers are their number one priority and Direct Care Australia takes the time to understand each and every participants’ needs and preferences. As your needs change, the team will work with you to ensure you receive the services and quality care you require.

  • The Direct Care Australia team is big-hearted, passionate, knowledgeable and skilled. They are dedicated to helping people remain independent and to maintain and build on their physical, emotional and intellectual capacity to be able to continue to do what matters – live well and achieve their goals.
  • Direct Care staff undertake ongoing training and professional development to ensure the highest quality of care so participants and their carers can trust that they are thoroughly referenced and criminal record checked and always carry photographic identification.
  • They like to keep things real! Staff encourage people to maintain their independence, to build confidence in everyday activities and to stay connected with friends, loved ones and the community by setting goals that are right for them.
  • The Direct Care workforce is sensitive to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities and therefore does its best to provide individuals with a nurse or support worker who can understand and appreciate different cultural needs.

  • Services can often be arranged within 24 hours and the organisation’s flexibility means they can support clients on an emergency or one-off basis.
  • If you’d like a service “holiday”, Direct Care Australia is also flexible enough to put your services on hold until you are ready to continue.
If you travel within Australia, your services can follow you at no extra cost. Staff will arrange for the organisation’s local teams to seamlessly continue services.
  • All services are conveniently made to be flexible and they can be provided for either a couple of hours, short term or on an ongoing basis.
