4. Housing
- Accommodation
Disability Co has partnered with a range of developers who all specialise in building different types of housing options from ILO to SDA and even SIL only properties, to bring more variety and choice to participants.
The organisation’s SIL homes support those who wish to live an independent lifestyle, as living independently offers a sense of autonomy and allows one to have greater freedom of choice in how they wish to live their life.
With many building options including apartments and freestanding homes, the team seeks to empower people to live where and how they want.
Within each of the homes, each resident’s room includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area, so everyone has their own space.
There is also a communal kitchen, laundry, living room, and outdoor entertaining area. With an overnight support room for 24-hour support staff, there is comfort in the knowledge that support is there when you need it.
- Respite
NDIS short term accommodation and assistance (respite) is also offered by Disability Co, with the newly-acquired Grattan House in Melbourne an excellent option.
Grattan House, located at 16-20 Grattan Place, Carlton features 18 newly-renovated single bedrooms and six newly-renovated bathrooms across two floors. It is the perfect location for your next respite stay, or emergency accommodation.
NDIS short term accommodation and assistance (respite) is also offered by Disability Co, with the newly-acquired Grattan House in Melbourne an excellent option.
This space was created to provide an urban respite experience for NDIS participants who want to take advantage of everything the city of Melbourne has to offer.
Whether you are looking to participate in one of our respite experiences, or want to tailor something to fit your emergency accommodation needs, Disability Co feels there is a service that will work for you.
The organisation aims to foster a team that people love working with and provide services that enable participants to get the most out of life.
It’s in everything the team does; from the first phone call, to the last service we ever provide, Disability Co is always thinking about how its clients can be celebrated for who they are.
