Perth Disability Connection Expo 2022
The last event on our Calendar for 2022, Perth Disability Connection Expo was MASSIVE!
Thousands of visitors and hundreds of Exhibitors joined us at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre for two big days of Expo.
Doubling in size from 2021 in almost every aspect, Perth and surrounds came together to connect and network whilst offering a valuable support and information exchange to the Community.
As is becoming the trend with all of our Expos, Perth SOLD OUT in 2022, representing the BIGGEST Disability Expo in WA.
Back to back entertainment provided the perfect atmosphere for participants to engage with providers and discuss their goals and how they may be able to work together to achieve them.
A jumping castle, balloon twisting and face painting was enjoyed by everyone, a common sight was also providers with painted faces getting involved in all of the fun adding to the inclusive representation of the disability community. We truly are all IN THIS TOGETHER!
With an enormous increase of 365% from Visitors and 66.6% from Exhibitors from 2022, 2023 is shaping up to be an even larger event, with forward projections suggesting similar increases next year!
The atmosphere of our Disability Connection Expos is difficult to describe using words alone. Perth was no exception. The smiles, laughs, new friendships and participants gaining access to providers with capacity proved an invaluable asset.
Feedback from participants relayed how grateful they were to have access to such a vast collection of providers and many even found relief in connecting with SUPPORTS they had been struggling to find in the local area. Over 80% of visitors to the Perth Disability Connection Expo rated the event an 8/10 or above.
Providers gained new clients and new providers were able to begin to establish contacts to assist them in growing their business, FACE to FACE interactions that are invaluable in establishing provider/participant rapport. When surveyed 78% of Providers rated the Perth Expo an 8/10 or above and 75% rated an 8/10 when asked if they will be joining us again in 2023.
With bookings for 2023 filling quickly Perth will again SELL OUT, time is of the essence if you are hoping to become involved in WA’s LARGEST DISABILITY EVENT for 2023.
Expo Magazine
Our Perth Disability Connection Expo magazine contained 50 of Western Australia’s leading NDIS Providers showcasing their specialities. The magazine was a key feature of the Expos as each visitor is given one and it demonstrates the depth and breadth of providers from each region. Find out more about our sponsors, but most importantly, browse the extensive list of exhibitors..
Sponsorship Kit
We launched a comprehensive marketing campaign to increase awareness of the expo and encourage NDIS participants to register as a visitor. The campaign consisted of sponsored, boosted and organic posts and advertisement distribution across all Social Media channels with a focus on the Developing Australian Communities Facebook page and the event page as well.
To find out more about our marketing strategies, advertising and promotion and post expo numbers check out our Perth 2022 Post Expo Report.
