Van Raam bikes are built in the Netherlands and offer people with a disability a sustainable form of modern-day mobility. Van Raam wants to contribute to the integration of people with a disability into society. They believe that “if people are mobile and independent for longer, they are happier”.

The company manufactures customised bicycles, tricycles, mobility scooter bikes, low step-through bicycles or comfort bikes, walking aids, side by side tandem bikes, tandem bikes, wheelchair bikes, and transport bikes for people with disabilites. Since 2011, Van Raam has developed its own electrical pedal support, called the Silent System, a 36 Volt system. The pedal sensor can detect movement and force. This electrical system was recognised in Germany in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018/2019 as worldwide “test-winner”.
