Welcome aboard, Musicare

An industry-based community of musical professionals devoted to unleashing the healing power of music, Musicare are forging a path to the music industry for people of all abilities.

Musicare are musical mentors staunch in our fight against social isolation and prejudice. They make musical connections and share industry knowledge to grow your motivation.

As an Early Bird exhibitor at the Brisbane Disability Connection Expo 2023, Musicare creates musical opportunities to enhance your confidence and ability. We are so glad to have them with us again to showcase the work they are doing with their talented group of performers and extensive collection of instruments their musicians are learning and performing with.

They take you where you want to go with music while dispelling misinformation and breaking down ableism.

After 30 years in the music industry, Director Dan Nebe has a list of accolades most only dream of, working with icons like the Beach Boys, Hoodoo Gurus, and the Super Jesus.

An event and production manager, sound and lighting engineer, record producer, tour and entertainment manager, artistic director and music journalist, Musicare is how you can see your dreams of becoming an artist in the music industry realised or have fun learning.

Inclusive, encouraging and supportive Team Musicare are committed to sharing their industry experience within the community. With mentors that include industry professionals from all areas of the music industry, including vocal coaches, drumming, guitar and keyboard coaches, these professionals will guide you through their programs with ease.

Before you run out the door and buy a musical instrument, come and meet Dan and Team Musicare at the Brisbane Disability Connection Expo, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 March 2023 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
