Kiss goodbye to MS – Walk 50km in May!

Australians have been asked to run or walk 50km in May to help raise funds to leave multiple sclerosis where it belongs – behind us.

The #KissGodbyetoMS campaign runs throughout this month and almost 11,000 people have already registered to take part.

More than 25,600 Australians are living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

It is MS Limited’s mission to raise more funds for life-changing research, targeting prevention, better treatments and a cure for MS.

The May 50k participants are being asked to register as an individual or team for the event and challenge themselves by walking (or running!) 50km during May, using a special app to keep track of your distances and fundraise along the way.

Get your workplace, friends and family and any social groups on board – tell them your goal and kick start your fundraising!

You can do it by yourself, with friends or family or get together a team with your work colleagues. Share this video with them.

Multiple sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease of the central nervous system that interferes with nerve impulses from the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves, manifesting in a wide range of symptoms that vary from person to person and are often invisible.

As yet there is no cure, however there are several treatments available to help people live well with the disease.

Your fundraising will help research into MS, as well as helping you rise to the challenge!
