Getting Connected with Connected Support Group

Do you have questions about your NDIS Support Plan? Are you confused about rules and how you can use your plan? Do you want to understand more about what supports are available for you?

Connected Support Group is a registered NDIS provider with experience and expertise in understanding the NDIS rules and providing practical advice and solutions to help participants engage with the supports and services they need in their local communities. See what their participants have to say.“So many people say they have difficulty in understanding how the NDIS works and that’s where we come in,” said Richard Higgins, Managing Director of Connected Support Group.

At Connected Support Group, they work with people to navigate the complexity of the NDIS, to provide guidance and to assist people to access supports available to them be it through supports funded in their NDIS plan or through supports available from other community and mainstream programs.

Having worked as a Local Area Coordinator, a Support Coordinator and Support Worker, and being the parent of a daughter with high functioning autism it was natural for Richard to utilise his skill set and lived experience to establish Connected Support Group alongside business partner Sarah Clarke, who has had a background in caring roles spanning over 20 years, firstly as an enrolled nurse, then in disability support work prior to moving into support coordination back in 2018.

At Connected Support Group we understand that every person is an individual with their own goals, so they take the time to understand you and your goals to provide bespoke solutions that address your individual support needs.

Often circumstances change and people need additional supports, at Connected Support Group they have the resources, knowledge and expertise to guide and support you through this review process and manage change. When detail, knowledge and experience matters you can rely on the team at Connected Support Group to be there for you.

Some of the services provided by Connected Support Group include:

Support Coordination Level 2 & 3, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Support Workers for Personal Care and Access the Community. Allied Health Services, Early Childhood Supports, Access and Maintain Employment Supports.
