Welcome aboard, My Supports

My Supports was founded in 2015 by people with a disability and families.

An Early Bird Exhibitor for the Sydney Disability Connection Expo 2023, My Supports workers work in local Neighbourhood Teams that are very much part of the community.

My Supports, support workers are passionate about their local community and have a lot of connections they can share with their clients. Maybe you would like to join a local interest group, tap into community services, find a paid or volunteer role or find out what events are coming up; their local teams are full of resources and knowledge to help you.

My Supports don’t wear uniforms, branded vehicles or have a big head office. Instead, their teams are led by a coordinator who works from their own home, and team meetings are held in local coffee shops and libraries.

You will deal directly with your Neighbourhood Team Coordinator and the support workers who know you well, so you won’t have to tell your story repeatedly and can enjoy consistency in your support.

Your Neighbourhood Team will have a vast group of support workers coming from all walks of life. My Supports finds out about the support workers interests, hobbies, culture and community networks to help us make great matches for our clients.

All their Neighbourhood Team Support Workers have an up to date National Police Check, Working with Children Check and meet all state requirements. My Supports provide an in-depth Induction Training to all new Support Workers so they are well equipped with the right skills and values to provide quality support to their clients.

If they don’t quite have the right support worker for you, they will recruit to find people specifically for your needs. If you already have a great Support Worker, they can employ them on your behalf.

If you would like to connect with My Supports visit the Sydney Disability Connection Expo 2023, 16-17 June, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
